I realize I haven't posted much in forever. I've been busy with other games and with life in general. However, as always, I like generating worlds. Today while looking up some random info on something else entirely I came across
this which might be of use to anyone working on games involving hunter-gatherer cultures.
Interesting stuff. As a society/tribe grows in numbers it becomes more efficient in using territory so less is needed. I supposee with hunter/gatherers it is because they learn the good spots for an ambush and where particular vegetables grow which helps with more food gathering and knowing what will likely turn up where.
